Third and fourth had a fantastic day yesterday with Tara and Siobhán, the two National Park scientists.
It started with an informative talk on local birds and animals followed by a changed to hold a wild vole and mouse.
Then, using pooters, the children safely caught various insects in the meadow. The absolute highlight for many was putting these bugs under microscopes—magnified up close, their tiny features looked mighty scary!
