Looking forward to welcoming all our pupils back to Coolick N.S. & Pre-School tomorrow! Some nice surprises await; our new soft play area and tree house are all complete and our mud kitchen area got a makeover!! Also, our canine companion Brooke has missed all the children and can't wait to see them tomorrow 😄😃😄

From water guns bouts, to penalty shootouts, from musical chairs to dodge ball scares and from art mindfulness to parachute game madness, the children of Coolick had a wonderful morning of fun busyness!! Oh, and the preschool children even had a barbeque 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞

It was a great honour for Coolick NS this morning to welcome Minister for Children, Disability and Equality to officially open our new modular classroom as well as view plans for our extension. The Minister was treated to a welcome full of dance, song and music. She engaged so admirably with pupils, staff, parents and members of the wider community and was exceptionally generous with her time. Many thanks Minister Foley for a most memorable visit. We had firefighters Dennis and Martin at school today giving an excellent safety talk to 3rd and 4th class. The importance of every child knowing their eircode was again highlighted among lots of tips to keep safe around electricity, gas and fire.
