5th & 6th class had a great Local History and Geography tour of Kilcummin Village today!
Dividing into 2 groups, both groups enjoyed exploring the flora and fauna of the woods along the Deenagh River. Also a tour of the historical sites of the village (or the 'Cross Roads') including,
*Our Lady of Lourdes Church (1976)
*Clashnagrane National School (Rural Dev Office, 1841)
* St Mary's Church (old church, 1752-1976)
* The Post Office
* Kilcummin Mass Rock
